The Selectrail team has been pushing forward with the development of our iQSELECT2 Solid State Time-Delay Relay, and are pleased to report that it is all going to plan.
This much-anticipated product is expected to be available to the market by the end of October 2023. It is currently undergoing assessment by independent safety assessor TÜV SÜD Rail GmbH for SIL4 compliance prior to official release.
As a direct replacement to the SELECT-2 Q-relay, the iQSELECT2 provides an exciting opportunity for easily retrofitting upgrading systems that use this particular Q-relay type. The advantages of 100% solid-state technology include improved reliability, performance and functionality over its electromechanical predecessors.
Delay time can be selected via coarse adjustment hard wired strappings as used previously and fine adjustment using dip switch settings, a major improvement on previous designs.
Following significant interest in the development of the iQSELECT2 from key players in the rail industry, the Selectrail team has put considerable effort and resources into delivering this product.
